Naloxone Training & Distribution  

Community Collaboration of Delaware proudly offers a life-saving Naloxone (Narcan®) Training & Distribution Program*, completely free of charge. This initiative aims to equip individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively respond to opioid overdoses in their communities.

Through this program, CCD provides comprehensive training sessions on the administration of Naloxone, a medication that can rapidly reverse opioid overdose effects and potentially save lives. These training sessions are designed to be accessible to all, ensuring that participants gain the confidence and skills needed to respond confidently in emergency situations.

One of the key features of CCD's program is its flexibility. Whether it's a company, event, or a group of individuals seeking training, CCD is readily available to conduct in-person sessions tailored to the specific needs and preferences of the audience. Participants can reach out to CCD to arrange a training session at a location and time convenient for them.

During the training sessions, participants learn about the signs and symptoms of opioid overdose, how to effectively administer Naloxone, and crucial steps to take while waiting for emergency medical services to arrive. Additionally, CCD provides participants with free Naloxone kits following the completion of the training, ensuring they are fully prepared to respond to overdose emergencies.
